We are seeking a German-speaking Tech Lead AI Developer at either a Mid or Senior level to drive the development of AI-powered solutions for one of our key partners. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys both product ownership and technical leadership, with hands-on involvement in AI development.

Your Tasks:

• Own, prioritize, and refine the product backlog to ensure the delivery of valuable features  
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to AI software developers (Senior level) or collaborate closely with the development team (Mid-level)  
• Act as the key liaison between German-speaking stakeholders and the development teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment  
• Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to cross-functional teams  
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and designers to build and scale AI products  
• Hands-on involvement in AI product development, including coding, reviewing technical designs, and contributing to implementation  
• Monitor product performance, gather feedback, and adapt the product strategy accordingly  
• Facilitate release planning, sprint reviews, and contribute to agile process improvements  
• Oversee the technical aspects of AI product development, including model training, fine-tuning, and the implementation of RAG pipelines

What You Should Bring:

• Proven experience in a Product Owner or  Tech Lead role, or strong experience as an AI developer ready to grow into a leadership position  
• Hands-on experience in AI product development and a solid understanding of AI technologies  
• Proficiency in Python for application development; experience with Semantic Kernel is a plus  
• Experience with training, fine-tuning, and evaluating LLMs and ML models using frameworks like HuggingFace, Ollama, PyTorch, or TensorFlow  
• Strong knowledge of setting up, hosting, and operating LLMs and ML models in local/hybrid environments  
• Excellent command of German (minimum B2/C1 level) and English is mandatory  
• Strong analytical skills to translate business needs into technical requirements  
• Bonus: Understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and hardware requirements for AI workloads
