The American School of Kosova is looking for a full time Learning Specialist for the academic school year 2022/23.  If you are passionate about teaching and learning, and sharing your passion with students, we would love to meet you!

General Qualifications:  

• BA in Pedagogy or Special Education is required, MA in Inclusive Education is preferred
• Speak and write English at a professional level
• Minimum 3 years teaching experience, Learning Specialist preferred

Job Requirements:

• Experience teaching students in variety of classes and age groups with a modified curriculum
• Excellent professional skills of collaborative and communication
• Effective classroom management skills
• Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, parents, and school administration.
• Maintain communication and documentation protocols with principals related to learning support per individual student.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude
• Demonstrate professionalism, confidence, and a strong work ethic inside and outside the classroom
• Keeping student confidentiality files up to date with all required information pertaining to student learning support.
