The role: Early Children Care and Development -ECCD Officer

Qualifications and experience

  • University degree with background in Education Studies or Social Sciences and experience in the same field.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of work with child rights, human rights and well documented. experience from work with a rights-based approach and child rights programing.
  • Detailed understanding of and skills in monitoring and evaluation for program development and knowledge management.
  • Proven track record in working with international cooperation/development issues and civil society.
  • Current knowledge of program planning and reporting procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills with young children, parents/caregivers and duty bearers.
  • Good analytical skills. Effective negotiator, with the ability to positively influence cross departmental and cross sector working.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Valid driving license.

Contract length: until 31.12.2021
