LCV EUCOM Kosovo: Supervisor - Equipment Maintenance
Organizes and coordinates the activities involved to maintain and repair mechanical equipment, including trucks, automobiles, diesel engines, etc. Ensures that equipment is maintained according to requirements. Utilizes Computerized Equipment Management System to monitor and control equipment maintenance.
Advises employees of proper operation and maintenance of equipment, trains new mechanics, and further develops skills of current workers. Monitors equipment operation at job site and ensures that proper maintenance and safety procedures are followed. Trains PSL equipment operators in preventive maintenance procedures.
Ensures that the quality of work and documentation is in compliance with the appropriate Technical Manuals and Maintenance Allocation Charts. Promotes safety, QIP awareness, and teamwork. Requires specialized training in diesel mechanics and equipment repair or equivalent experience, thorough knowledge of field services equipment operation and maintenance, and a minimum of 5 years experience in field maintenance.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be familiar with U.S. Army regulations related to Field Maintenance operations
- Must have Military Tactical Vehicle Maint. Humvees, 2 1/2, 5 Ton, other military tactical vehicles experience.
- Must be familiar with GCSS - Army computerized maintenance system.
- Must be fluent in English
- Must possess driver’s license with at least 6 months of remaining validity
Preferred Qualifications
- Candidates with prior Military and or LOGCAP experience in working with military equipment and environment.
- Candidates with knowledge of US military regulations and OEM requirements, including OSHA, ANSI regulations standards
