TEB SH.A. is looking for a qualified candidate for the position of ALM Treasury Officer to be recruited in the very dynamic team of the ALM Treasury Department in Head Office.
Main responsibilities:
- Buys/sells foreign currency and manages FX positions
- Assists in coordination with the Senior and Supervisor of ALM Treasury management of funds in corresponding banks
- Assists in the daily, and weekly Report preparations
- Contacts branches for all necessary duties and any problems related to the department
- Prepares miscellaneous reports or statistics
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
- Assists the Senior officers and Supervisors of ALM Treasury
- The employee is obliged, except for duties specified in the employment contract and in the job description, to perform other duties required by the immediate supervisor/employer, depending on the needs of the employer and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations as well as internal acts/bylaws of the employer
Qualifications required:
- University Degree - Economics, Econometrics, Business Administration, Financial Mathematics, Banking and Finance, Statistics, Mathematics
- High proficiency in written and spoken English
- High analytical capacity
- Able to provide practical solutions and work unsupervised
- Detail-oriented, easy-going, and able to handle stress with tight deadlines
- Eager to learn and contribute
- With capacity and interest in making and presenting high-level quantitative presentations to internal and group-level upper management
- Available to travel abroad, and represent the institution appropriately when required
- Interested to have a long-term commitment, able to work longer hours, and being available whenever needed
- Self-learner, self-motivated, good at taking initiatives and acting when needed
