Scholarship opportunity – Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters

Art Academy of Latvia –new study programme, the “Service Design Strategies and Innovations” (SDSI), implemented jointly with the Estonian Academy of Arts and the University of Lapland, is now an Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters programme, and the only such degree in the field of service design.

They have an opportunity to award generous scholarships – 1400 EUR per month for the duration of the studies (2 years) and completely waive the study fee for one to two, the most motivated students from the Republic of Kosovo. We would appreciate if you shared this news with bachelor students in their last study year and even graduates – maybe someone is interested to continue their study path with a service design joint master’s degree!

However, the main point we would like to highlight is the high-quality education that the programme provides, not only the scholarship.

The SDSI welcome anyone to apply for studies at their SDSI programme. Final date for applications is February 28, 2023.

All the additional information about the programme, as well as the admission’s procedure is available on the website:

Here is also as short introduction to the programme:

The SDSI is implemented through the cooperation of 3 universities – Art Academy of Latvia, University of Lapland (Finland) and Estonian Academy of Arts. The Stockholm School of Economics, as an associate partner, participates in the programme in a tutoring capacity as well. Last year the programme was awarded with the prestigious Erasmus Mundus status which is also known as the quality sign in European education. Thanks to the support of European Commission, this September the SDSI will be able to welcome 30 new students from all around the world. Duration of the studies is 2 years and it will be held on-site only. First year (2 semesters) the students will spend in Latvia, Kuldīga, followed by one semester in Finland, Rovaniemi and one in Estonia, Tallin.
