The 2021 call of the IKI Medium Grants focuses on resilience of local populations in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and climate change adaptation, as well as on strengthening participatory processes for ambitious climate action.
With a total funding volume of about EUR 6 million for this year’s IKI Medium Grants call it is expected to fund between eight and twelve projects.
Status of the procedure
The call for project ideas of the IKI Medium Grants selection procedure 2021 is open from 25 February 2021 to 24 May 2021. In this first selection stage, the IKI online platform is open for the submission of project outlines.
Project outlines can only be submitted via the IKI online platform in English.

As part of the call of project ideas, two online seminars will be offered for interested organisations, to give an overview of the IKI Medium Grants programme and selection procedure. Both online seminars will be conducted in English.
